Music Ministries

• The Tabernacle Minstrels: Those individuals who are gifted and talented to play various instruments as a form of worship, minister at all of our services

• The Tabernacle Praise & Worship Team: Also known as The Levites, this group of committed women and men minister at the beginning of all our services to lead the congregation in praise and worship to God

• The Tabernacle Choir: The choir is dynamic and exciting. It is formed and ministers on an as needed basis to enhance Sunday morning services as well as special events.  Ages 18 and over are welcome.

 

The Sacred Arts Ministries

The Dance Ministry: Dance expressions of worship that are holy and dedicated to God are encouraged and enjoyed as they usher in God’s presence and make His praise glorious.  “Let them praise his name in the dance” Psalm 149:3

Three dance ministries are welcomed at GTCC

• Liturgical Dance – Adults ages 19 and up

• Teens in Motion – Young people ages 13 through 18

• Kingdom Kids – Children ages 5 through 12

 

The Step Team: Youth who participate minister through drill and step routines using the Word of God as their basis.  Their “ordered steps” are more than just entertaining. They are engaged in praise and worship.  Both males and females are welcome.

 

The Tabernacle Drama Ministry: An anointed group which acts out real life experience resulting in people being ministered to and obtaining a better grasp of the Word of God.  Their drama helps others to see clearly and apply the messages to their daily walk with Christ.     

 

The Ministry of Helps

• Hospitality/Greeters Ministry: The Hospitality/Greeters Ministry at The Tabernacle does an exceptional job in making church worshippers and first time guest feel welcome. They are the initial contact of "The Tabernacle Experience." They set the tone by greeting everyone with friendly hearts and warm, loving spirit.

• Ushers: Ushers serve the worshipping congregation by meeting, greeting, and seating worshippers entering into the sanctuary; providing worshippers with church related materials and attending to the needs of the members and visitors. These men and women are committed and dedicated to the cause of Christ and represent the general character of the church. 

• Security: Men and women serving in this ministry make certain that the house of worship, as well as the immediate surrounding areas of the church is safe and secure.

 

The Media Ministry

The mission of this ministry is to bring glory to God and to bless His people as we support the vision and mission of GTCC. This is accomplished through the use of audio, video and computer technologies. The ministry responsibilities include:

• Enhancing the live worship experience and special events through video projection and sound reinforcements.

• Capturing the live worship experience and other events on CD and/or DVDs for the purposes of broadcasting, church history, and duplication for evangelism and sale.

• Duplicating and selling the audio and videotapes, books and other items.

• Promoting upcoming events, previous services, ministry involvement, conferences, resources, etc., by presenting video clip promotions.

• Ultimately reaching the masses via radio, live-streaming, and television broadcasts.
